Hi there,

I’ve been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, and certainly since being a teenager. Nothing gives me more pleasure than the joy that my images bring to someone, and I would absolutely love to create images for you that you will treasure forever.

Living in the beautiful Hertfordshire town of Harpenden, I enjoy creating images in all genres of photography, but especially love capturing Events, Weddings, Portraits and Street / Documentary images.

I’m the current Chair of Harpenden Photographic Society, where our aim is to inspire the local community to better take and enjoy photography.

For the last decade I’ve also been a qualified member of The Guild of Photographers, where I am also a Members Ambassador.

With over 350 Awards, Commendations and Acceptances to date for my images in National and International competitions and Photographic organisations, including The Guild of Photographers and British Photography Exhibitions affiliated Open Salons, you can be assured of receiving beautiful images that you will want to treasure.

I also enjoy giving back to the local community through my photography. I’m the official photographer for the annual Classics On The Common car event in Harpenden, run by Rotary in Harpenden, where I donate my time for free.

I also photograph the Harpenden Summer Carnival and Christmas Lights Switch On events each year, often with other volunteers from Harpenden Photographic Society.

I have been awarded more than 175 Image of the Month awards with the Guild, including five Golds and six Silvers, and have been the recipient of The Photographers Bar six times (2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2018, 2017) - which is The Guild’s rarely achieved distinction awarded only to those photographers who consistently produce work of a very high standard. Less than 400 photographers have been given this distinction in its ten year history.

Six of my images including five Gold-Awarded, have been selected as finalists of The Guild of Photographer’s Image of the Year (2023, 2021, 2020, 2018).

I am currently working towards my BPE4* Crown distinction, after achieving the 100 image acceptances required for BPE3* Crown in 2022. The BPE4* Crown requires 200 image acceptances in British Photography Exhibitions-affiliated national salons across the UK.

I achieved the distinction of Licentiate Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) with the Royal Photographic Society in October 2019 with a panel of 10 images.

In 2018 I was proud to win two of the six categories in Harpenden Town Council’s Photography Competition, including Best Seasonal Photo and Best Photo Highlighting The Town, and in 2022, have supplied numerous images around Harpenden and at local events for HTC's relaunched website.

My work is regularly published in Herts Life Magazine and Herts Advertiser. My images have been featured in five different edition’s of Herts Life Magazine’s Calendar.
